We found out yesterday that the next special needs list comes out at 7 p.m. CST on Monday evening. John and I will be looking over the list, so please be praying for our family and for those sweet boys and girls.
In other news, I found out that I'm going to have a new niece or nephew in September! I get so excited about babies!!! I wonder how many cousins my boys will end up having?!?!? I'm thinking at least four more counting this newest one! :)

Sleeping Under The Stars...
For Christmas this year, my boys received a tent from their Gigi and Pop, and a night light which projects stars from their Memaw and Papa. Put those two gifts together, and you have much fun!

My boys have been a bit disobedient lately, so I told them if they could be very good listeners and good helpers for 24 hours, they could sleep in their tent. Of course Greggy isn't able to participate yet. He's too little, and he would never stay in the tent. As you can see, the big boys were all in!
I think they are cute when they get this excited over something, and it's honestly one of the easiest bedtimes we've had in a while.
Thanks for the fun Gigi, Pop, Memaw, & Papa!

Adoption Update
Well, we have officially been in the adoption process for two years. I know that seems crazy, but it's true. At this point, we are on a waiting list (4+ years) for a healthy infant girl with the option to speed up our wait by adopting a child with special needs (SN). The SN list is available to us once per month, and there are few if any children on each list so far who have either had only mild or moderate special needs and have been within the age range that we are seeking to adopt. We have noticed that those children are VERY quickly chosen by families. We have yet to be quick enough. I am becoming more savvy in this area. Honestly, looking over the list is quite heartbreaking as each name is a child who has no family, no home, no one to love him or her as you and I have been loved. This is more difficult that I thought it would be. Being handed a referral was MUCH, MUCH easier. Oh, how we need wisdom!
Our hearts have been in this for some time, but, for a variety of reasons, our timing has been off. I trust that is for our own good. Regardless of the amount of time that we wait, we are very excited for what is to come.
